EICC 2025 – Medical Device Security and Privacy (MeDSec 2025)
The European Interdisciplinary Cybersecurity Conference aims at establishing a premium venue for the exchange of information and sharing of research findings on cybersecurity and its many aspects between academics and practitioners in Europe.
CYLCOMED partner KU Leuven Dusko Milojevic, will serve as one of the special session chairs. During the session, the cluster paper “MDCG 2019-16 Guidelines: Case Study-based Assessment and Path Forward” will be presented. This paper evaluates the practical applicability and limitations of these guidelines based on feedback from six Horizon Europe (HEU) projects, including CYLCOMED. Each project employed case studies reflecting diverse CMD environments and operational contexts to assess the guidelines’ relevance and effectiveness in real-words scenarios.
